I'm starting a new job tomorrow. There are a couple of areas I'd like some help with before the job begins. 1. When do we negotiate salary? It was discussed at the interview, but only a range was given. Because of this, I assume it's discussed after they see how proficient I am with their job duties? 2. Does anyone know of any free online tutorials for Mail Merge and Quickbooks? I don't have experience in those areas, which the employer knows, but I have said [and it is true] that I learn very quickly. I'd like to have a baisc knowledge of how to work these things, what menus look like, etc, instead of walking in knowing nothing about those two. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
