Container Question

I bought these containers for planting vegetables. One for bush beans, one for eggplant and maybe a potato. Would yellow squash be alright too? I plan to make drainage holes in the bottoms and to use Miracle Grow potting mix. Does anyone think this is a bad idea? Thanks for sharing your expertise.
