Hello! I have a very, very tall Dracaena deremensis ("Corn Plant")... so tall, in fact, that it's taller than the ceilings in my house. And yet it insists on growing taller. Several months ago i had to move and the corn plant came with me, but being so tall, it rode across town in the back of a truck, cause many of the leaves on it's upper parts to suffer wind damage and become torn. So, old corn plant is looking pretty sad...all tattered and leaning over because it's too tall to stand upright. If i cut off the upper part of the tallest cane, will it leaf out again? Can i take cuttings from the old plant and propagate new plants? What is the best way to do it? Any ideas on the best way to salvage it would be appreciated. I've had this plant a really long time and i just hate that it's not happy anymore.
