cos finding a job is definately a poorskill. . . .
I am trying to help my partner find a job. Only thing is, it's really important that this job offer health insurance, and that it offers these benefits to her same-sex partner, (me.) Neither of us have looked for a job where the biggest priority was insurance before, everything else is negotiable if the job includes good health insurance. She doesn't want to be a manager or work at a job where tons of multi-tasking is required. We would both prefer a job that doesn't send her home filthy dirty, covered in grease, or the like. She has 16 years of childcare experience, including six years as a live in nanny, but that doesn't seem likely to offer health insurance. How do I find a job that meets these specifications? At what point should she ask questions about the health insurance offered? What jobs should I seek out that offer health insurance? Will talking about health insurance early on in the hiring process scare off potential employers? Thanks for any advice. It is always appreciated.
