Crawlies

Crawlies

Hey, I need your advice, if you can help. My plants go outside in spring, but now they're inside. I just looked at my window box type thing and noticed something moving. I thought I could see a little worm or something, but I couldn't see much. Just like the top of the soil moving around a little bit. The longer I watched, the more I realized they're all over the soil, like there appears to be a lot of these things. I tried to dig one up to see what it was, but I guess it got away. Anyway, without any better information, what do you think? Are these just little worms that will be aerating the soil and making my plants happy? Or is this some kind of awful pest that's getting ready to hatch into something even more horrible and infest my entire apartment? I'm not sure what option I would have except to put it outside and let it freeze, which would kill the plants in the planter, as well. [EDIT: I just did a little more research and I think they might just be baby earthworms, which is fine with me. I caught one and took a picture of it though, so I'll post it later on to see if that helps or for anyone who wants to gross themselves out. =D ] Ryan
