credit card BS
HELP! I pay my Capital One account online. I had a payment due on 8/21, and paid on the 17th. It didn't reject it until the 22nd. So now, I have a $29 late payment fee, and I'm stuck with a low-limit credit card. My question: How can I make them take this fee off? It isn't my fault, and, if I KNEW that there was a problem on like, the 19th, I'd have rectified it. I just called and acted very polite, and got nothing. I don't feel like screaming or acting up, but, as a former customer service employee, those people are the only ones who get anything, it seems. * With prompt payment, my limit would have increased in another two months. TWO MONTHS! Grrr.
