Credit card issues

Credit card issues

I posted a while back about how my credit card had been stolen and someone had gone on a shopping spree and spent all of my money. I got a ton of good advice from here and I opened claims, reopened claims, and have been pursuing getting this money back pretty much everyday since. Today I received an email saying that my claims have been denied (again), because after talking to the merchants they have decided that since the purchases were signed for that obviously they were legit. They're allowing me to fax them a copy of my driver's license to see if the signatures match, but I'm still super worried. How close do the signatures need to be to mine for them to deny my claim again? My signature isn't super unique. I'm mostly worried because the claims process is 90 days long and it's been about 60. I'm just terribly afraid they aren't going to give me this money back. I got a Mastercard because I liked their zero liability policy, but so far it hasn't helped me at all. Is there anything I'm overlooking that I can do? I'm worried about my account being overdrafted (I refuse to pay the overdraft fees when I didn't spend the money) and about my credit. Thank you so much in advance :) Edit 07/06/09: The bank has refunded all charges and given me all of my money back. Thank you SOOO much to everyone that replied and gave me amazing advice. I've learned so much about how to take care of this if it should ever happen again. Thank you, thank you, thank you! :)
