credit cards in the US.
I don't know if this has been posted yet or not, but by October 2005, credit card companies are doubling their minimum payment percentage if they haven't done so already. They are restructuring it from 20 year payoffs to 10 year payoffs. Good if you have the money, because your debt will be paid off sooner. Bad if you don't have the money to afford the new minimum payment. http://www.dailykos.com/story/2005/8/20/173341/766 http://www.bankrate.com/BOS/news/debt/20050511a1.asp http://www2.kauz.com/kauzmoney/fullnews.php?id=42 I don't know if this is for ALL credit cards or just some? Does anyone have anymore information about this?
