Crock Pot Cooking
Hello again all! Have another question/info I'm looking for and figured I'd ask on here. Part of being 'poor' and a skill you need to use is cooking to feed yourself and family, and doing so around whatever work schedules are involved in your family life. I've found that using my crock pot helps quite a bit, as I can prepare something when I'm awake in the early morning after work and leave hubby with instructions to basically, throw it in the pot and turn it on at such and such a time. I love crock pot cooking, and really want to be able to do it more often, but am looking for advice/ways I can adapt our favorite oven recipes to use them in the crock pot. Anyone have advice/info on how to do this, or a resource for said info? Specifically I'm looking for how to be able to make my meatloaf in the crock pot. I've found recipes for crock meatloaf, but I'd like to continue using my own recipe and am uncertain what I would need to do to adapt it to be cooked in the crock pot. Any info for making crock pot meals out of meatloaf, oven recipe chicken dishes, sausage for spaghetti, things like that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a ton!
