Crock pot stock?

I looked through the archives and didn't find this, but it's been a long day, so I might have missed something. If so, just send me a link and smack me with a trout :) Does anyone know how to make stock in the CrockPot? I imagine it would be simple enough -- just putting your stock items in the pot, covering them with water, and letting them simmer all day? Or are there tricks to this? I make stock on the stovetop all the time, by bringing things to a good roiling boil and then knocking them back to a simmer. But it's Texas, and it's hot, and my A/C doesn't work right now so I don't want to leave something simmering/boiling on the stove for a long period. And I'd love to able to set up the CP with stock ingredients, go to work, and come home to stock. Ideas, tricks, tips?
