Zone 6 Maryland here. Just did a tour around the garden, trying to figure out where to plant all my brassica seedlings. I find myself fairly illogical when its time to start pulling summer plantings. Am I the only one with that problem.
Here’s and example. I planted a ton of eggplant, and have frozen alot for parmiagian, and canned more than a years worth of ratatouli. Some of the plants have small eggplants on them, that will probably mature before frost. Other’s have nothing more than a bud or two that will never produce mature fruit, but I’m hesitating to pull them out incase there’s a miracle warm winter.
Speaking of miracles, this is my most productive volunteer tomato ever, not a great picture, but its got about 2 dozen green tomatoes in addition to the ripe ones that I picked.
