I have been having problems with deer getting in my garden. They ate my peppers down to little stubs. My green beans are only about 4 inches tall – any time they flower the deer chew them down. They have pretty much chew on every plant in my garden except the tomatos and cukes.
Someone suggested I put up a scarecrow and a wind chime. I did this and the next day they were knocked down and pretty much trampled!
My garden has a 3 foot fence around it (I’ve heard deer can jump a 6 foot fence). I have thought about putting up a barrier such as chicken wire, but I don’t want the deer to get tangled up in it and get hurt either.
Any suggestions? Thank you!
