Hello everyone! I live with my fiance in the tiny beach town of Satellite Beach, Florida. Below are some a ton of pictures of our little apartment, and any suggestions/comments are welcome!
The best thing about this apartment is undoubtedly the view. The ocean is right behind those condos there, right across the street.
And now, the inside:
This is what you see as you walk in the front door. Pay no attention to the mess out on my balcony. I wish I could paint the walls, probably some sort of pale green, but a) I have no time and b) I live on a very tight budget. So I make do.
This is to the left, a little nook leading to the bedroom and bathroom.
The computer desk and tv:
My mom got me that wall hanging when she was in Japan, and the little character frames I bought at Cost Plus World Market. The walls still look bare, I know, but it’s the best I could do with what I had.

MUCH more organized bookshelf. I had to clean it out because my books were overflowing, and I donated more than two boxes of them to Goodwill. Now there’s room there for my little knick knacks, most of which seem to be cat-related. In fact, I notice now that almost all of my decorations are cat-related, and I didn’t buy any of them. People seem to like to give me cat things but I’m wondering now if it’s a bit too much. Ah well.
Table and chairs also from Ikea. The rest of my furniture was hand-me-downs.
I’m getting new couches soon from my parents, because my cats have destroyed these ones. It’s too bad, really, because they’re super comfortable couches, but they look like hell and I spend my whole life picking up fluff off the floor as the cats tear it out.
And now, my tiny tiny kitchen:
I really like this little window, because I think without it the kitchen would be unbelievably cramped. Still, I’m at kind of a loss as to what I should put there, especially since my bad bad cat likes to climb in and out of it.
I tried taking more pictures, but basically once you’re in there, there’s not even enough room to move around and get any good shots.
And my equally tiny bathroom:
Again, not so conducive to picture-taking. To get this one I was basically standing in the shower. Also, not sure why the tile walls came out looking so stripey. In real life they’re just yellow, plain, horrifying yellow. I tried to temper it with that green shower curtain, but am not so sure it’s working.
So yeah, that’s it except the bedroom, which I didn’t take any pictures of today because it’s messy.
So… yeah.
