Dental

Okay guys, I have a couple of options here and I want you to help me decide. First back story, I have been to the dentist once in my 21 years of life and that was last spring when one of my teeth broke while I was eating. The very back teeth on the top of my mouth on each side have VERY large cavities. Last spring they filled the one on my right side. The one on my left has started hurting recently and I know I should go to the dentist. I went to the dental school here to do the work on the broken tooth last spring. It cocst $47 for the filling and $57 for xrays and whatever else was in that. (Maybe a few more costs that I can't remember). So here's my delimma: I can get a student dental insurance plan which apparently costs $21 a month. Which will cover a variety of things like no out of pocket for xrays and tooth cleanings, and a $25 deductable for fillings and such (And pays 20% of the remaining covered services). Max $1000 paid per year (by plan). (This hardly makes any sense to me!! Help!) Or I can just do it out of pocket like I did in the spring. I'm afraid of paying a monthly bill that I may end up paying a bunch on top of. I don't have much money as it is and would probably have to cut back on other things like get rid of cable internet (Yes not a huge loss I know, but I use the internet for a few of my classes...). But I really want to do this soon cuz my teeth have been hurting recently and it is bothering more than usual. Thanks in advance.
