Dentistry on a Dime

Dentistry on a Dime

Ok, well, I have a little more than a dime to spend, but not much. Looked in the memories, but no luck. I hate the dentist. So even though I knew it was self-defeating in the long run, I've not gone in about 10 years. I know I've got some major work needed (rebuild/replace/root canal two teeth, multiple cavities, etc.), but I have almost no money, and not-good credit. The only reason I'm going now is that I appear to be getting a cavity in one of my front lower teeth, and vanity refuses to allow that to bee seen, and if I'm going in for that, I might as well start working on the other issues. What is the best way of getting the dentistry I need done, on a tiny to non-existent budget? For my hair, I'd have no problem going to a salon school, but doing the same for my teeth frightens me a wee bit. Sedation dentistry sounds ideal, but the extra $$ it would probably require makes it cost-prohibitive. It would be better for my fear factor to go in just a few times for a lot of work, as opposed to going in a lot for little stuff - I have a feeling that I'd just not go after a while. Any suggestions would be very appreciated!
