I have a follow-up to my post on Mom’s monster dipper gourd. I was at Mom’s today and found NINE gourds on the inside of the arch. The outside of the plant is still covered with blooms so there should be several more coming at some point. I promised pics if/when it produced any gourds, so here they are. For those also on
This will likely be the fate of at least a few of these gourds. This is one of last year’s crop. Mom drew the picture then attacked it with markers. There’s a large bee on the other side of the hole. She’ll give it a coat of clear varnish before hanging it outside for the birdies.
