Dress shirt woes.

Dress shirt woes.

Last Christmas my boyfriend and I were getting prepared for a social event. We'd only been dating for a couple of months and I was looking to impress him with my homemaking skills, so I offered to iron his dress shirt for him. Long story short, I ended up with an expensive dress shirt with an imprint of half an iron on it. Needless to say I was mortified and swore up and down I'd buy him a new one. It turns out they don't make this particular shirt any longer. So I'm wondering if there is something I can do to save this shirt? It's been hanging in my closet since then and the mark has actually faded a *little* bit. The shirt is 85% polyester, 15% nylon, and is mahogany in color. Should I hang it back up and hope it fades again in the next decade, just forget about it and turn it into something else, or is there something that might work? Thanks ahead of time!
so ! i finally cleared my room – more or less.
