I have a delphinium I planted about six weeks ago as a root. It was growing beautifully until about two days ago, when it abruptly wilted. It was literally fine when I went to bed and all the leaves were drooping and curling under the next morning. I'm watering my garden every two days and hadn't watered it the night before the drooping, so I assumed it needed more water, but it was looking worse this morning in spite of being watered two nights ago and well-soaked with the rain we got early this morning. To make the whole situation worse, I was trying to pinch a leaf off and the whole plant popped out of the ground, root and all. The stem is still green; is there any way I might save it?
