I used to make these all the time in college and stumbled across the recipe the other day. I made them last night & they are still great! Fairly cheap and very easy. 1 1/2 cup hot water (I usually microwave it to make sure it's really hot) 1 Tbsp. yeast (or one yeast packet) 1 Tbsp. sugar or honey 1/2 tsp. salt flour- enough to get the consistency you want Mix ingredients together and let sit for 5 min. You may let the dough rise if you want to, but not necessary. Roll by hand into long breadsticks and bake at 400 for 15 min. These are a dense & yummy breadstick. I usually brush on some butter and sprinkle with garlic right when they come out of the oven. We often use leftover spaghetti sauce to dip them in!
