Eating Healthy on a Limited Budget
Right now, my boyfriend and I have a $50 a week grocery budget. With two adults eating three meals a day, $50 goes really fast. We started shopping at Aldi to cut costs and it's made $50 a week very do-able. Unfortunately, not all of their foods are healthy and contain things like MSG and trans fats. I try to do my best and buy things like wheat crackers instead of cheez-its, skim milk instead of whole, etc. However, I really don't want to jeopardize our health for our budget. What are things that you guys eat when the budget's tight that are still healthy? We aren't terribly picky but my boyfriend doesn't like Indian or Thai food. Thanks so much!
