Until recently, I had only a cell phone. When we got our house phone/DSL combo for the same price a month, I dropped the cell phone. Now, I have a unreliable car, a baby, and family that lives over 30 miles away that was visit regularly. Therefore, I need an emergency cell phone to keep in my car. I want to get a lot of opinions before I drop a lot of money on a new phone/plan.
I have been looking at Virgin Mobile and TracFone. I had Megatalk, through IWireless, so I have a compatible phone with them.
I live in Iowa, and my budget is under $20/month. I really would like a pay-as-you-go plan, but I could use something with a low amount of minutes. I just want it to be reliable.
