Err… Whoops?

Err… Whoops?

In January I pulled up my Candytuft plant, because it had died off and is an Annual, so wasn't going to grow back. Such a pretty plant with adorable flowers, so last month I sowed more out in the greenhouse because I didn't want to have it missing from my garden. I now have lots of Candytuft growing in the greenhouse and this pleased me greatly. However... Yesterday afternoon I was sitting outside and noticed a tag sticking out in what seemed to be an empty patch of the border. "Oh," thought I, "I must have pulled out an Annual there; I need to remind myself what it was". The tag had "Candytuft" written on it. There are also over 30 Candytuft seedlings developing in the vicinity! The darned thing self seeded before giving up the ghost! I don't mind because it's such a lovely plant, but had I known it would do this I wouldn't have put more out to germinate in the greenhouse! It seems that my garden is going to be taken over by Candytuft this year...
