I’m in the pacific NW. About a month ago we dug up some wild ferns from the woods behind our house and put them in our front yard to cover up an ugly old stump. But they’re not doing well and I’m not sure why :( They aren’t browning or drying out, but for the most part they won’t stand up. They’re mostly laying flat on the ground, but otherwise look fine. It’s been raining quite a bit lately but when it’s dry I go out there with the hose. What more can I do for them or will they perk up eventually on their own as they get better established?
