I have finally started to get settled into our apartment.
For personal reasons, our female roomate has (thank God) moved out. This makes decorating my apartment SO much easier, because honestly, the boys (my husband and our male roomate) really don't care. While I'm just digging in and decorating all over (rather than taking it a room at a time, like I should) I really have come across some tough situations. ANY insight and help would be wonderful.
- How juvenile do you think posters are? Obviously not the small, magazine sized posters. But rather the large posters you can buy just about anywhere. My male roomate, while uncaring in most aspects, has hung four posters in our living room, and refuses to budge on them! The posters are nice.. and I'm greatful they're not ugly. But I really was trying to go with a more grown up, adult style. Should I just let them be? Or try and reason with him? Are posters THAT bad?
- Our comptuer, for lack of a better place, is in our living room. Our couches are in a semi-L shape, and behind one of the couches sits our computer. Its in a very limited space. Any ideas on how to kind of divide the living room from the small computer area? It obviously doesnt have to be FULLY divided.. I just want the LOOK of it being divided.
- Its getting cold. Therefore, the boys have refused to smoke outside. I dont mind smoking, but I, as a non-smoker, dont care for the smell. Any ideas on how to mask the scent in our home?
Im sure theres 12308923 more questions, but its too late, and my brain isnt working right. ANY help would be greatly appreciated and I'm terribly sorry if my constant questions are annoying.
