Financial aid

Financial aid

Hi, I'm new. Next year I'm going into college [$1300 semester/plus fees]. Unforcently, I never really thought ahead to college [I knew I was going to get a full film scholarship- and I did- but because of unforseen circumstances I can't persue it]. So, I have nothing [aside from $300] in savings, and my expected family contribution is [the EFC on my SAR] is $0. I filled out my FASFA and my college finacial aid form. I'm going to call to enquire about the EOP [it's a NY financial aid program], and I also applied for TAP. I'm a NY first year undergrad student. Am I forgetting another source of funding? I can't do academic scholarships, and a film scholarship can not be applied to my college. I also have learning disorders, if that helps. In addition to my college costs I need to pay for an apartment and I CAN'T work while I'm in college- I'm taking two majors and a minor. It's going to be $300/month with utilities included [yay!]. Will Financial Aid cover it? Or, rather, can I apply financial aid help cover the costs? Can it be applied to off-campus housing [on-campus is not available]? Can it be applied to my cell phone [$29.99 a month, I guess it's a utility, but an on-campus job might cover it and my parents might]? What about transportation costs? Food costs? And, if government programs/campus programs do not cover this, can I get a private loan? I'm a minor [my parents won't cosign]. Are then any private loans that will be deferred to graduation? And, I'm going to a two year college right now, and I will graduate/transfer to another school [in a joint-admissions program] to finish up my education program. Would the grace period on government loans begin 8 months after my graduation from the two year college, or the four year college? Is there any way to make it 8 months after graduation with my bacheolors degree? If any else fails, I will have to apply for a credit card as soon as I turn 18. I don't want to be in debt for the rest of my life, but I will be doing City Year and Teach for America or Teach NYC [programs which pay back your loans if you work for them]. Or I will be looking for a Tuition remebursement employer. Thanks.
