So, we’ve got this pretty cheapo model GE refrigerator that came with the house we currently live in. It’s not the greatest icebox, but it works, and we can’t afford a new one at the moment.
So a while back, my wife slipped on the kitchen floor while putting some food away and broke her fall with the plastic bottom tray of the refrigerator and cracked it. Lately, the crack has been getting worse and worse and soon it may not support the stuff on the bottom. This would be a major issue.
Anybody know of the cheapest way to get a replacement bottom tray for a refrigerator? I’m sure that GE would charge a goodly amount if I had them ship me one, but I’m thinking there must be a lot of discarded refrigerators out there with perfectly good bottom trays?
Any ideas to how I’d go about searching for the part?
