First post + cold weather woes?
Hello all ^.^ I just joined up, have been looking for a community like this :3 I live in a 2nd floor apartment with a balcony and a sort-of-awning over it. I live right outside Allentown, PA. A few days ago I got a bunch of big pots and soil and planted: --- Two kinds of tomatoes Edamame (soybeans) Sugar Snap peas Corn Carrots Romaine lettuce (transplanted (the others are all seeds)) Parsley Rosemary Basil Oregano Thyme --- I think that's all... Anyway, it was nice and warm out when I planted, but the last few days it's been miserable cold and it actually might SNOW this morning @[email protected] (my local weather) The lowest temp forecasted in the next 10 days is 33 degrees (F) so I don't think there's danger of frost, but all the germination temperatures and such for the seeds are up in the 60s - 80s x_x Will this harm the seeds or just slow the rate at which they start growing? I'll get some photos up soon ^.^;
