So I have this typical small southern California kitchen. I love it, it’s my happy place, but it does have one strange counter that I can’t figure out what to do with. It isn’t well lit, and right below/in front of it is a pull out cutting board, so it’s always “distant”, if that makes any sense. I usually just end up leaving my juicer or toaster on it, but I feel like I could be using it better. Any suggestions? The counter in question:
