I got a large quantity of bananas at a ridiculously good price. More than I know we can eat before they go brown. Anyone have any experience with freezing bananas? I've frozen them before when they are very ripe to use for bread. And I've frozen some just before they went brown to use in smoothies. But what about freezing them while perfectly yellow? Will they be all mushy when unthawed? How long can I keep them in the freezer? Is there a way to freeze them to they can be eaten like normal bananas that have never been frozen?
