What foods have you found that do or don't freeze well? I don't have a huge freezer, but things are almost always cheaper in bulk, so I'm thinking about getting big packages and splitting them up. For example, boneless chicken breasts were on sale for $1.79/lb in the huge packages a few weeks ago, so I bought two packages. One package I split up into bags with 2 breasts each. The other package, I cut the breasts in half and boiled them. Then I shredded the chicken and split it up (makes super easy chicken salad, BBQ sandwiches and chicken tacos). Also, what do you do to keep food from getting freezer burn? When we froze our wedding cake to eat on our anniversary, I wrapped it in plastic wrap and then aluminum foil and it did pretty well. Often, though, it seems like food gets freezer burn pretty quickly.
