orb from ‘The Prisoner?’ No, it’s at the Botanical Gardens!

from the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens
The gardens are located on a failed housing development in Boothbay, Maine. It contains not just manicured gardens but native forest and shoreline waterfront. It opened in 2007.
Exhibits scattered throughout the garden – these statues are placed throughout the gardens, they’re by a local artist Wendy Klemperer. This particular exhibit ends in mid October.

I rather like the porcupine

Bonsai

There’s also a promenade with 1000 white birch and a rhododendron garden, as well as vegetable and water displays. It’s truly an amazing facility. I’ve been to several large botanical gardens (including Balboa Park and the Bronx and Brooklyn Botanical Gardens) and the Coastal Maine Botanical Garden was quite an unexpected (pleasant!) surprise.
If you’re in the area, be sure and check it out.
