straight 8 cucumbers that were left on the vine too long. this was my first time growing cucumbers & i wasn’t sure when to harvest them. i was thinking “wow those cucumbers are huge! i’ll just wait until they turn green & then i’ll pick them”. little did i know, they were getting more yellow & not green! now i know that i should have picked them when they were much smaller & greener. does anyone know if they are stilll edible? or if i would even want to eat them at this point (flavorwise)?
also, in another gardening post i remember reading that it was not a good idea to prune squashes or the like…why not? can someone fill me in?
