today i bought a "raspberry pixie" daylily for my new little garden theres a still a bit of space to fill in and i can't figure out what should go where. maybe you folks can help me out? 1. 'Tangutica' Clematis 2. Lily-of-the-Valley 3. 'Lord Baltimore' Hibiscus 4. 'Max Frei' Cranesbill 5. Delphinium 'Magic Fountains Dark Blue/Dark Bee' and 'Dark Blue/White Bee' 6. "Easter Lilies" my father bought them in a pot, and they were white, but others he's bought that were planted outside have flowered different colors once they grew back. 7. 'Myra McRae' Peony, and hiding behind the daylily, 'Torchsong' 8. Red Daylily, hemerocallis Hybrid, with another tag that says "Raspberry Pixie Daylily" 9. 'Golden Child' Hedera i want it to be a completely perennial garden - i've got all the tall stuff put in at the back by the stairs and need some more ground covering, flowering type plants. edit: zone 5, the garden is facing west so it gets about 12 hours sun each day throughout the summer. the soil seems to be staying pretty moist, i haven't had to water at all. though we have been getting rain on a regular basis. suggestions?
