Jumping on the Pictures of My Lilies band wagon, a few other shots, and a plant ID
The parsley I let go to seed, just to see what it would do. I took it down later that day and it’s now mulching the cucumbers and squash. That’s the previous homeowner’s volunteer lobelia in front (yay!), Martha Washington white geraniums to the left with Lily number 3 in front of them, and pink sweetpeas growing up some unidentified vine in back.
The first lily. I think it’s name is Cicero. Very heavy ginger smell. Yum!
The second lily to open. This one’s called “Nymph”.
I threw both perennial and annual (“Flanders”) poppy seeds in this area. Only this one came up. Thrilled as I am, can anyone identify which type this is?
Am waiting impatiently for lilies 3 and 4 to do their thing.
