Garden renovation

Last year I kind of got a bit lax with the upkeep in my back garden, and things got a little out of hand. This year I'm determined to get it back into fighting shape. I've had Lemon Balm back there for years, worked at keeping it tamed, but failed last year. It ended up choking out almost all of the other plants. I started working on it Memorial weekend. I still have to replant it, but the heavy lifting is done. evil, evil Lemon Balm yes, that is a carpet of Lemon Balm see? End of the Day, 5/24 evil, evil Lemon Balm is now only on the first (lowest) level replaced the rotted landscape timbers on the second level with left over pavers End of the day, 5/25 top level is empty of everything but the iris and the sedum topsoil added and dogwood planted on top level End of the day, 5/30 Lemon Balm is gone from the first level, new iris on the top level (left side), and sedum from the middle level (right side) divided and replanted on the left side of the middle level and elsewhere in the yard new iris between the eiffel tower and the flagstone iris tag And just because, peonies
