Well, it's the Ginkgo's third year of being in pots and at the end of the growing season they're almost all going out into the yard. There is one that is starting to branch right now that's going into the yard as soon as I get some spare time to do so. They're not that high so i'm thinking of steaking them with something gentle to tie them off, like the cooking string we have in the kitchen, it might need to be replaced more, but I don't want to disturb the bark too much. What would everyone recommend? This is the start of a leaf on the new branch which cracked out of an old bud this week. This ginkgo went dormant for a while after we had a cold snap in the middle of April while the others grew, it's just a little behind. (Sorry for the blurriness, my camera doesn't cooperate) It's about time for them to go into the yard, i'll have to see what's going on with the other three at the end of summer.
