GardenshowTime!

Look what I got today at the Connecticut Garden Show! 100_2892 I also got a bat house, and a Hod from Maine Garden Products, as you may remember me raving about last year? well lobsterpot wire wood basket love is now mine! Went to several talks, orchid care (good, very informational), meadows (no new info for me, and I doubt your average person would be convinced), Roger Swain (who was the guy on the Victory Garden on PBS, very entertaining), and also Zen/Japanese Gardens. yay nice garden slides, reminding me of East Asian Art Class... Was not impressed by the arrangements. Garden Displays ok, but I think I need to go to a bigger city to see anything innovative. So how's the garden shows near you? (crossed to my journal) Phalenopsis seem to be the only ones that could be in focus 100_2843 100_2844 100_2848 and some Amaryllis: 100_2842 100_2860 I thought this was a nice arrangement by white flower farm, hellebores and anemone and I forget the name of the grass...Hakone? 100_2875 Koi are cool: 100_2889 Here's a nice Tsukubai...I still want to have one of my rocks drilled to make one, except I can't move the rock... 100_2872
