Gladiolus issues

Gladiolus issues

I decided to grow a cutting garden this year with a box of Gladiolus bulbs that I won from eBay. I won a box of 100. The corms are finallly starting to bloom but Im having a problem. The plants seem to be growing sideways and some have fallen to the ground and continued to bloom. I cut the fallen ones and brought them inside and put them in a vase. They are doing well inside but im concerned about the others. Is it too late to do something? What have I done wrong? Do these plants require staking?
