I swear i could sit in the garden and watch the plants filling out. Our first rosebuds are about to open, about three weeks earlier this year. The weather hasn,t been so bright today but was still quite warm, typical bank holiday.I have planted the chrysanths in one of our old wheelbarrows,i thought they would be safer there away from Benji,s little feet. The hop is now growing a mile a minute and will be over the top of its frame before we know it. If anyone is looking for a good hardy and reliable climbing plant,i can highly recommend this one. This also seems to be very early to start this year. We have planted one next to the archway leading to the pond to replace the clematis that got the wilt. I have replanted the latter deeply in another spot,as this often works. Well i can live in hopes. If you look at the half barrel you can just see the Nasturtiums, we love their spicy taste in salads.
I haven,t forgot to keep a watch for those poisenous spiders either, certainly don,t want to find one of those in a salad. lol.Talking of food, the rasberries are in flower and we have tiny gooseberries already. The cherry tomatoes also have flower buds.
