So, one of the many suggestions for helping to keep heat in is to hang a blanket over the window…. we have a very large sliding glass door onto our balcony, and i bought a cheap queen-sized microfleece blanket to hang in front of it. it may not be that heavy, but it should help some at least.
but, i have no idea how to go about hanging it. i rent, and i can only use small nails sparingly. i don’t care if the blanket gets holes in it, i bought it specifically to hang over the window. does anyone have any suggestions as to how i can hang it? some sort of tape/adhesive that people have had good luck with? i don’t want to worry about it falling down, but i can’t spend much on supplies either. some combination of adhesive and a few nails? cutting holes and using those little adhesive hooks?
