green & red bell peppers…also about a dozen between the 2 plants (with 1 or 2 lost to blossom end rot/sunscald)
so here’s a dumb question: are red and green peppers really just the same….the red left longer on the plant to ripen?
an update on the kidd’s climax dinnerplates that i’ve grown for the 1st time:

they are definitely not as big as dinnerplates, maybe more like saucers. but the color is quite nice.
p.s. joey in ca & all you other zucchini growers, i have come to realize that zucchini in a pot is very demanding when it comes to water. however i failed to realize just how big the plant really gets! mine is as big as an overgrown hosta! i’ve just about given up on it some days…watering it not enough in the morning & come afternoon having it look like a bowl with limp noodles hanging over the edges. it’s been brought back to life of course bearing some healthy looking zucchini…but some are shriveled up and yellow & resemble the bitter-melon that my mother used to grow! what am i doing wrong?!?
thank in advance!
