Having a “poor” birthday party?

Having a “poor” birthday party?

Ok ladies and gents, I need your help! My kids 1 boy, 1 girl, birthdays are coming up in October. Hannah turns 1 on the 6th, Kaleb 2 on the 12th (Not to mention my husbands bday is on the 4th!) Anyway, We are having a get together (party) outside at my house (October in GA is usually pretty nice) So Here are my questions: 1- Theres going to be 20 people, 15 adults- 5 kids(age range from 1-5) Is there any place that rents tables/chairs? or anybody have any other nifty ideas for this? I really only have a roughly $100 budget for gifts/food/party itself. Thats not a whole lot. 2-Food! I really want to make food besides the cake(s). I was thinking maybe chili- really cheap to make a lot of- and hot dogs. And those "lil smokies" sausages in bbq sauce for an appetizer. I'm already going to be making the cakes myself- So I'm not worried about cost there. Are these good food choices or anyone have better ideas? 3-Any entertainment ideas? I have none- I figured the kids could run around and play(we have 5 acres) And the adults could go fishing or shoot pool. (we have a pond and pool table here, so thats free too!) Any other nifty party hints tips you would like to share? Thanks in advance
