heirloom blueberry plants

heirloom blueberry plants

My partner found some heirloom blueberry plants for $10 per plant (minimum of 5 plant order) that are ready to go in the ground and will supposedly give fruit this June 2010. This seems like a very great and exciting idea to us, however, we are excitable novice gardeners and local food lovers. We live in zone 6A. Has anyone around grown blueberries before? It seems like a lovely idea but I don't want to buy into something that is terribly high maintenance or will fail where I am or anything like that. Also, this price reasonable for plants that are ready to give fruit? [Reminder, I'm one of the gardeners with a disability, and it seems like it would be a great little project for me to sit outside in the sun in a chair by my blueberry plants and pick blueberries.)
