I'm a 2nd year gardener and still learning a LOT. I'm in Zone 5, Nebraska, and I won't be able to plant anything until May (consarn it) when the ground finally thaws completely. I'm looking forward to Spring! Meanwhile, though, I have a problem. I wintered my Dahlia bulbs on a shelf in the garage, as I thought I was supposed to, and I recently noticed that they're shriveled and extremely dry. Ew. Is this normal or did I manage to kill them?
