So, I diagnosed the most recent issue with my tomatoes, and it turns out that Mr. Stripey has early blight. I think it was combination crazy fluctuating weather, the hail storm, nutrient deficient soil, and overcrowding (ya think?!) that did it, and now I need to know how to undo it.
I bought a fungicidal spray, and I sprayed my entire tomato crop, just to be sure. The tomatoes closest to Mr. Stripey are already showing signs, so I thought it would be best to do them all.
What now? Do I also remove the affected branches? Do I just wait?
I should also note I have lobelia growing in the center of many of the containers with the tomatoes: should I consider uprooting it so that the base of the tomato plants gets more breeze?
