I recently bought a really nice blue sweater set. I wore it once. When it came time to wash it, i read the tag with the washing instructions, machine wash, tumble dry low.
So, i put the sweater in with a bunch of other white and light colored clothes, and ran the washing machine. When it pulled the sweater out of the wash, i noticed that the sweater had what looked like veins of color running all over it. I can only assume that when i washed the sweater the dye faded everywhere except where there were wrinkles. A photo of the wierdo lines i’m talking about is behind the cut tag.
What i need to know is how this happened, what happened, and whether or not it can be fixed. I managed to catch the problem before i put the sweater in the dryer. Can the sweater be saved??
