I went out of town for a few days and came back to find my hollyhocks almost totally destroyed by tiny caterpillars. These little monsters were fairly easy to ID as Hibiscus Sawflies. Does anyone have suggestions or advice regarding how to get rid of them without pesticides? Or possibly even some efficient way to manually remove them? Next year should I order mantids or ladybugs to help defend against them?
