Help talk me down!
The peat pots, soil and pepper seeds came in the mail today. According to all schedules, they should be started in February for planting in May. But I wanna start it now! Right now, this second. I'm thinking 'hey, an extra month. They'll start producing peppers that much earlier.' Not only that, it's the middle of January in the middle of a very cold winter in the middle of no gardening season. They're 4.5 inch peat pots, so they're plenty big. The only downside I can see is that, being the impatient gardener that I clearly am, I'll try to transplant them too early like I did last year. Talk me out of it! Tell me all the bad things that'll happen if I try to start the peppers too early. Save me!
