Home Remedies for Migraines
I've had a low-level migraine/sinus headache/really not sure? For about 24 hours now. An explanation you can skip: I've been drinking water since I got it--I've had recurrent headaches since I was 13, my pediatrician said it was dehydration, I now know that I have had anxiety, but nothing has really triggered it... I've tried meditation and sleep, which usually helps but ugh. My brain hurts. I would "nornally" take ibuprofen or something, but a)I hate that part of Western culture that treats symptoms and not source and b)I am on serious meds for rhuematoid arthritis and my liver is not pleased with me as it is. Headaches are something most people have to deal with anyway, I assume, so...Anything that has helped anyone else that is not otc meds? ETA: Thanks to everyone who replied! I learned some new things I should probably know... A mish-mash of massage, heating pads, food, and aromatherapy has helped a lot (it hasn't gone away completely but yeah, I think it's "just" tension/stress...) Anyway, thank you!
