Homemade heat packs without a microwave
An earlier post reminded me of a question I've had for awhile. I have some material perfect for making some heat packs, the kind with the rice, flaxseed etc in them. But we don't own a microwave, and don't plan to buy one either. Is it okay to heat these in the oven? To me it screams fire hazard, but maybe I'm wrong. Is there any other way I could heat it safely?
